JUNIOR TRIATHLON CHALLENGE ENTRY INFORMATION

Based at the Huia Pool Lower Hutt this is a fun series for anyone aged from 8 through to 14 years

You can enter as an individual or form a team with some mates. However you do it, the aim on the day is to have fun and you are all winners so every finisher gets a medal as they cross the finish line.

Anyone aged 8 to 14 on the day of the race can enter. Just to make it clear if you are aged 7 then you are to young but we look forward to seeing you next year and if you are 15 then sorry you’re too old.

There are different categories:

• On your own as an individual which means you do the swim, cycle and run.
• As part of a team of two. One of you will have to do two of the disciplines* and the other one of the disciplines.
• As part of a team of three. Each person does one discipline.
• If you don’t fancy doing the swim we can offer you a run instead so you would complete a Duathlon (run/bike/run)

Entry fees, very important part of the information. We have set out the fees in the table below. Decide what you want to do and then look along the table to find how much it will cost you. Remember if you decide to do more than one race you can get savings by entering all at the same time.

HOW TO ENTER

You can enter on-line below with credit card payment using our secure server. All on-line entries receive automatic confirmation of entry by return email. LATE ENTRY FEES

Late entry fees will apply from two weeks before the race day. Respective late entry dates being 19 November, 14 January and 11 February.  Late entries without the late entry fee will be returned. 

ENTRY LIMITS

There are only 2000 places so to avoid disappointment enter as soon as you can. The web site will advise how many slots will be available for the late entries so watch the web site after the closing date and get down to registration early. Any places left will be offered at the Saturday registration on a first come first served basis between 1pm and 4pm on the Saturday before the event.

SUPPORT YOUR SCHOOL

A portion of your entry fee will go to your school. At the end of the series we will present to your school hard cash that can be used to buy sports gear. So speak to your sports teacher, get your mates together and get loads to enter from your school. Remember more entries means more cash which means more sports gear.
